A callable function that reads an attachment.

Call it with an AttachmentGetting or an AttachmentMutating first, then the parameters the prototype declares - one argument more than prototype() reports, and anything else as the first raises TypeError.

The pool that holds it is registered by a C++ application embedding Python, so that a script running inside it can call the application’s own functions. Only its pool hands one back, and the wheel alone never produces a pool. The Node binding has no counterpart: it is loaded BY a host rather than embedded in one.
