class dsviper.ValueVoid

Bases: Value

A value of type void. Seamless with Python None: None is accepted as input, and encoded() answers None.

ValueVoid() and Value.create(Type.VOID) both give the single void value.

static cast(value: Value | _OutputValues) → ValueVoid

Return value as a void, or raise if it is not one.

copy() → ValueVoid

Return a deep copy.

description(*, namespace: NameSpace | None = None) → str

Return the same as representation(); namespace is ignored, void having no name to qualify.

encoded() → None

Return None, the native void projects to, as Value.dumps does.

hash() → int

Return the hash value.

representation() → str

Return the value written out: void.

type() → Type

Return the Type this value is an instance of.

type_code() → str

Return the code naming this kind of value, such as “int32”, “struct” or “vector”.
