StreamWriterFile

class dsviper.StreamWriterFile(path)

Bases: object

Writes data to a file.

The file is created, or truncated when it already exists, as soon as the writer is constructed; an unwritable path raises there.

The bytes are buffered, so close() is what puts them on disk - a file left unclosed is short or empty. The writer must outlive the codec writer built over its stream_raw_writing().

close() → None

Close the file.

offset() → int

Return how many bytes have been written, counting those still buffered.

stream_raw_writing() → StreamRawWriting

Return the StreamRawWriting interface.
